at around 3.50pm local time doolandella, inala, forest lake, durack, darra was struck by an instant storm. it consisted of, heavy rains, strong winds and minor hail (size of regular dices).
but due to the fact that i am vinh, all i thought was... "WOO HOO!! RAIN!!!!" and ran outside through the rain until i was struck by individual hail. then i went back in.
then, items of my household were blown around and outside by strong gushes of wind, making my dad furiously yell, "vinh get it!! stop it!! go get it!!". so i replied, "YEAH!! WOO HOO!! RAIN AGAIN!!!". this time, i was a little more cautious with my actions, to not get hit by the hail, but it had stopped, so i purposely threw some boxes around so i can go retrieve them without any suspicion from my dad. muahahahah.
after all the dilemma with the rain (it only lasted for 10 mins or so =[) we returned into the house and went back to our daily routine. then, the drama continued with power cuts throughout the entire suburban area. =D
im not going to go into much detail of what happened in this time, but just the points that were fun. eating dinner with the family under candle light (somehow, it felt more like home =]), receiving a lot more phone calls and messages (gave me company, telling me i wasnt alone =]) and urinating into the toilet bowl in pitch black XD (it tested my skills to pee, no sight, just instinct.. i didnt miss =]).
and after 4 hours of no power, the home became a heated home (not sure how i can word that well), and then, a christmas miracle. THERE WAS POWER AGAIN!!! =D HALLELUJAH!! and so i instantly blogged my fun events =] sharing is caring =D
p.s. apparently its my birthday in lunar years (dec 15) and i believe everyone should try to pee in the dark (its so fun i swear XD)
